Passion// My passion is to know God and to make Him known to my family, friends, my church and my community. I am resolved to subversively ignite this passion in others.
Family//God has blessed me richly with my family. I am married to Shay-She’s amazing. My greatest fear when we first met was that we would change over the years. Shortly after beginning our family, Christ called us, and we surrendered our lives to his Lordship together. God has been busy transforming us into the image of His Son ever since. My wife and I are truly best friends.
Both Shay and I come from broken families. We have committed our parenting to the word of God and He has been faithful to fulfill every one of His promises in our family. We are richly blessed with three children Jasmyn, Heather and Cameron. Each year of their lives they have been the perfect age only to love who they are becoming more the next year. Our first ministry is to God and our second is to our family.
Interests//At home I hang out with my children and experiment with fish aquariums (Yes, I know I’m a geek). In the mornings and evenings I drink coffee and solve the world’s problems with Shay. In my quite hours I read the Bible and books on theology and ministry. One year I read 38 books. Living in the mountains I spend a lot of time outdoors hiking, backpacking and kayaking. When I am in the city I drink good coffee with good friends at a local coffee house.
